A lone figure stands in the middle of the desert plains. He is Willard, a grizzled old gunslinger. The sun beats down, and a gust of wind catches his long grey hair, blowing it behind him like a shire-horse's mane.

Willard stands, surveying the land before him. He takes a deep breath, and then begins the long walk toward a distant horizon.
...
Willard trudges through the desert. The sun is setting, and the sky is painted in red and orange hues. As he walks, he leaves behind a trail of glossy deposits of shire-horse hair.
...
The night sky is full of stars, and the desert is eerily quiet. Willard continues his journey, leaving behind more deposits of shire-horse hair.
...
The sun rises, illuminating the desert. Willard is still walking, and the trail of shire-horse hair is still behind him. Willard reaches a small town. He stops, surveying the scene before him.

Willard marches into the town square. He stands tall and proud, and a hush falls over the crowd.
...
"This is Willard's way."
...
The townsfolk look on in awe, as Willard strides away, leaving behind a trail of glossy deposits of shire-horse hair.
